And honestly, how do they not have a mirror and trash can in the loft room? I expected at least some small consideration for my trouble, but that evidently was too much to ask. Almost gave a good review, just couldn’t.

Staying at La Maison de l'Olivier captivated me instantly with its beautiful garden and tranquil atmosphere. I loved floating in the saltwater pool and unwinding at the jacuzzi. The room was modern and very comfortable, especially the bed with its fantastic sheets. I appreciated the attention to detail, like the friendly communication from the hosts, who provided great local recommendations and made breakfast a delightful experience. Homemade breakfast offered a variety of delicious options, including freshly made omelettes. However, I wish my room had a fridge for snacks. Also, a bit more lounge furniture around the pool could enhance relaxation. Despite these minor drawbacks, the stay truly felt like a retreat in the heart of old Avignon.

Oh my gosh, the shower was, like, the best ever! Huge, steamy, and no leaks, it’s honestly what dreams are made of! Florian and Emmanuelle were so warm and made us feel totally at home. Plus, the courtyard pool was just what we needed to unwind after exploring all day. Definitely coming back!

We enjoyed visiting the Court of First Instance, which was an interesting historical gem. The serene atmosphere of the outdoor space was perfect for relaxing after a day out, especially for our furry friend who loved the garden too.
In my wife’s opinion, a playground would have been great for the kids.

great hospitality but some room details lacking
The hosts were truly welcoming and made us feel at home immediately. The outdoor pool provided a perfect, refreshing retreat during the hot days. Additionally, the location was fantastic, allowing us to enjoy nearby landmarks and beautiful views.
I found there weren't enough amenities in the room for a comfortable stay.

We had a great time exploring the local area, especially the Palais des Papes and the beautiful Pont Saint-Bénézet. The hosts' delicious homemade breakfast was the perfect start to our days, and relaxing by the gorgeous pool and jacuzzi added to the experience. The comfortable room and peaceful garden made for a memorable stay with friends.
One thing I noticed was that there was a bit of noise from the nearby street, which sometimes interrupted the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.
